Dr. Michael Conklin has over 25 years of professional eye care experience and can provide comprehensive eye care and complete vision related services for you and your family. Some of the products and services he provides include eye examinations to contact lens fittings, including toric (for astigmatism) and bifocal contacts, complete medical evaluations, diabetic eye examinations, glaucoma testing and treatment, dry eye diagnosis and treatment, minor injury treatment (such as abrasions) and foreign body removal. Full LASIK and cataract consultation, including pre and post-operative care, are available as well.
Dr. Michael Conklin obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2002. He has been in the field of optometry since 1984 where he first started as an optician and his desire to provide comprehensive care for his patients fueled his determination to become an eye doctor. Dr. Conklin has had extensive experience managing ocular diseases having performed his residency training in ocular disease as well as working in a multi-specialty referral based practice with Cataract/Refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, CK), Glaucoma surgery (Trabs and Non-Penetrating filtering techniques, SLT and medical management) and Vitreoretinal surgery (Diabetic Retinopathy PRP, Focal, PDT, Macular Repair and Retinal Detachment).
He is currently a member of the Utah Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and American Academy of Optometry.
